The University of British Columbia (UBC) School of Nursing has a unique opportunity for your students to gain an international academic experience, study at a North American international university, and meet students from around the world.

UBC School of Nursing will be offering three packages for the July 11 – August 11, 2020 session. The program package includes two courses, course materials, medical insurance, group airport transfers and city tour, shared accommodation, field excursions, socio-cultural activities, orientation and farewell events. The students may choose one of the following packages:

1. Package A  – Seniors Health and Home Care (NURS A JULY):
   1. Introduction to Seniors’ Health
   2. Seniors at Home and in the Community
2. Package B – Interdisciplinary Global Health Leadership (NURS B JULY):
   1. Global Health Leadership
   2. Quality and Safety for Health Care
3. Package C – Mental Health & Wellness (NURS C JULY):
   1. Introduction to Mental Health
   2. Strategies to Manage Stress in Everyday Life

The brochure of our Summer Program is here. The Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) is a four-week academic program offered for international undergraduate students. Registration is already underway. Apply by March 30, 2020. We encourage you to register your students early in order to secure their preferred course package and obtain a visitor visa in time, if required. International students from various disciplines are invited to apply. No prerequisites are required; however, participants must be proficient in English and have a strong academic background, and at least 18 years of age at the beginning of the session. Please note that VSP courses do not receive UBC credit but academic credit may be granted by the student’s home university at its discretion.
